What problem it solves. Porous hair behaves like a sponge: it absorbs water fast and releases it just as quickly. The result is a familiar picture — hair feels soft right after conditioner, but a couple of hours later the lengths are dry again, the ends are stiff and the style won't hold. Repairing and protein masks strengthen the structure, but if there is nothing to "seal" the cuticle, moisture escapes regardless. Lipid Repair works on exactly that link: it replenishes the fatty components on the hair surface and helps retain moisture between washes.

How LipidLock™ technology works. The base of the mask is a cationic conditioning emulsion. Positively charged components are attracted to damaged areas of the hair, which carry a negative charge, and deliver nourishing oils precisely where the cuticle is most open. A lipid complex of squalane, argan oil and jojoba oil fills the gaps between scales, smooths the surface and forms a thin protective film that slows moisture evaporation. Vitamin E protects the oils from oxidation and maintains the formula's protective properties.

Actives in detail:

• Squalane — a lightweight lipid similar to the components of natural sebum. Distributes quickly along the lengths, provides elasticity and softness, leaves no greasy residue.
• Argan oil — a classic for dry and colour-treated hair: nourishes, adds shine and smoothness, especially noticeable at the ends.
• Jojoba oil — technically a liquid wax rather than a conventional oil. Highly compatible with hair, softens and helps retain moisture.
• Lightweight emollient based on coconut triglycerides — gives the texture a silky feel and helps the oils spread evenly along the lengths.
• Panthenol (provitamin B5) — moisturises, increases elasticity and makes detangling easier.
• Centella Asiatica extract — a botanical ingredient with a soothing effect, supporting scalp comfort if the mask is applied close to the roots.
• Tocopherol (vitamin E) — an antioxidant that protects the lipids in the formula and the hair itself from oxidative stress.
• Dimethicone and conditioning polymer — smooth the surface, reduce friction during combing and protect lengths during styling.

What you will notice and when. Even after the first use, hair detangles more easily and feels softer — the "straw-like" roughness disappears and the ends are less ragged. Shine comes from a smoothed cuticle, not an oily coating. With regular use, porous lengths stay moisturised longer, frizz less and handle blow-drying and flat-ironing more comfortably. On bleached hair, the difference is especially visible at the ends: they catch on each other less during brushing and look noticeably neater. The effect is cumulative — the longer hair receives lipids, the more stable the result.
