Why hair loses protein. Hair is made up of dense keratin fibers protected by a layer of cuticle scales. Alkaline dyes, bleaching powders, heat, and even rough brushing of wet strands gradually break down this structure. Micro-voids form at the sites of damage: hair loses its resilience, stretches and breaks, ends split, and the length looks dull and uneven. Oils and silicones smooth the surface but cannot restore density — that requires protein.

How KeraLock™ works. The proteins in the mask are hydrolyzed — broken down into smaller fragments. In this form, they bond to damaged areas and fill the voids in the cuticle rather than simply rinsing away. A positively charged conditioning emulsion anchors the actives to the hair surface, smooths the cuticle scales, and locks in the result — hence the name KeraLock. Argan oil and vitamin E complete the treatment: they soften, add shine, and protect the length.
