Why protein care matters

Hair is made up of approximately ninety percent keratin protein. Coloring, bleaching, keratin straightening, chemical treatments, heat styling, and even time gradually strip and break down this protein framework. Hair becomes porous and fragile, loses elasticity and density, stretches and breaks easily when wet, frizzes and loses its shine, while ends split. Protein care addresses exactly this issue: hydrolyzed proteins are proteins broken down into short peptides that penetrate damaged areas of the hair shaft and rebuild the weakened structure from within. As a result, hair becomes denser, stronger, and more elastic. This is especially important for naturally fine hair that lacks density, and for damaged, bleached, or chemically treated hair that has lost its protein.

How it works: actives and bases

Hydrolyzed Silk. Silk is structurally close to hair protein, which is why it integrates especially well into the hair shaft. How to use
