This is the second, finishing step of the care routine: applied after Cosmex PROTEIN protein shampoo, it locks in the results — saturates the lengths with protein, nourishes, smooths, and seals the cuticle, restoring strength, density, elasticity, and a luxurious shine. Designed for those who frequently color or bleach their hair, use keratin, botox, and chemical treatments, style with a blow-dryer or flat iron, as well as for naturally fine hair that lacks body.

Why damaged hair needs a protein conditioner
Hair is composed mainly of the protein keratin. Coloring, bleaching, heat styling, and time gradually strip this protein away: voids appear in the structure, the cuticle lifts, and hair becomes porous, thin, and brittle, losing elasticity and shine. The shampoo saturates hair with protein and begins working on its structure, but damaged lengths need more intensive care. The protein conditioner works precisely on the lengths: it delivers a protein complex into the hair, fills damaged areas, smooths the cuticle scales, and seals them, leaving the surface even and smooth. How Cosmex PROTEIN conditioner works
After washing, the conditioner is distributed along the lengths and ends and takes effect within two to three minutes. Three proteins penetrate the hair and rebuild the weakened protein framework, while the conditioning base smooths the cuticle from the outside. As a result, hair becomes denser and stronger, stops frizzing and becoming static, combs through easily without tangling, and its surface reflects light better — so the lengths look thick, healthy, and shiny.

Key actives — a complex of three proteins
Hydrolyzed Silk. A protein with an amino acid profile close to that of hair: restores smoothness and elasticity, adds silkiness and luxurious shine, and leaves hair soft and manageable.
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. Replenishes lost protein, rebuilds and strengthens the keratin framework, adds density to the lengths, improves elasticity, and reduces breakage.

For severely damaged hair, you can leave the conditioner on for five to seven minutes as an express mask. Use at every wash or every other wash, depending on the condition of your hair.
